Documents prepared without repetitive work
ScanItEasy converts DOCX to PDF and images, merges PDFs, replaces and rearranges pages, compresses documents, and resizes images. A dedicated mode combines electronic pages with a scanned signed section and simulates a scan of a bound document. All operations run locally on the computer.
Distinctive capability
Simulate a scan of a bound document
Upload the main DOCX document and add its final section separately—for example, a scanned page containing signatures and stamps. ScanItEasy combines them into one PDF, makes the electronic pages resemble black-and-white printouts, and adds coloured ribbons and folds for red or blue binding. The application does not create signatures or stamps; it only processes pages supplied by the user.
Real example
How processing changes the document
Switch between pages and compare the source material with the finished PDF. The page before processing is shown on the left, and the scan simulation result on the right.
More than scan simulation
A versatile tool for working with files and formats
Word and PDF conversion
Convert DOCX to PDF, PNG, or JPG and PDF to PNG or JPG. When exporting images, every selected page is saved as a separate file.
Page replacement
Replace pages in a source PDF with content from another PDF, a DOCX document, or PNG and JPG images.
Flexible page selection
Use individual page numbers, forward or reverse ranges, any sequence, and repeated pages—for example, 7, 1-3 or 5-1.
PDF merging
Add any number of PDFs from different folders, choose pages and order for each file, and even include the same document more than once.
Compression and resizing
Batch-compress one or more PDFs, PNGs, and JPGs, or resize images proportionally. ScanItEasy automatically uses an installed Ghostscript package for stronger PDF compression.
Images to PDF
Combine multiple PNG and JPG files into one PDF in the selected order. Processing is local, with no subscription or per-file limits.
Working product

Downloadable release
Version 2.1.0 is published on GitHub Releases as a ready-to-run Windows build.
Public documentation
The step-by-step guide covers conversion, page ranges, merging, replacement, compression, and Ghostscript setup.
Verifiable source
The repository is published under the BSD 3-Clause licence, with dependencies and the build process available for inspection.
Local processing
Documents remain on the user's computer; the core operations do not require an external server.
